COP29 President on climate finance, accountability and the road ahead to COP30 in Brazil

Speaking to Euronews, Babayev stresses nan request to move beyond pledges and into implementation—highlighting outcomes from COP29 successful Baku, including a $300 cardinal ambiance finance target and advancement connected Article 6 c markets.  

With ambiance activity fragmented and world emissions still rising, Babayev says 2025 must beryllium a turning point: “It’s clip for developed countries to present existent support to nan processing world.”
